So they decided to design one themselves, and that became the very first ALPAKA bag, a fashionable messenger that did it all and kept essentials simple and organized without giving up toughness or practicality. Making premium products takes real effort, and for us it goes beyond quality to include heart and values. We are selective about our manufacturing partners, who must meet our standards and share our dedication to ethical practices. One of our co-founders, Jin, even relocated to China to supervise each stage of production himself. This is more than business: it is a way of making sure the people behind our products earn fair wages and work in comfortable conditions. Ultimately, it matters as much how our products are made as what they are.
